As sons of God, there are certain realities we must constantly bask in. One of it is the conviction of God’s immense love to us at ALL times. This conviction helps us understand why we live our lives differently, and helps us stay confident of the utterly glorious, redeemed and carefully planned lives God specially handpicked for us.
Ephesians 1:19 MSG
… grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!
Another thing this conviction does for us is seen in the passage above. It says, ENDLESS ENERGY, BOUNDLESS STRENGTH! This endless energy and boundless strength is overly essential in living this glorious life He has called us to.
How amazing is that? He called us to a glorious, redeemed, and carefully planned life full of love and He doesn’t stop there; He says, the strength and energy you need is also available from start to finish. It is just as our man of God, Pastor Binuyo Olutomiwa says, “once God gives the vision, He makes the provision for it”
Hallelujah!
So, this strength does not even come from us, we do not need to “try” to feel strong. No! God’s superhuman energy is embedded deep within us already making us will and do what pleases Him.
Furthermore, Philippians 1:6 MSG says,
There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
This scripture emphasizes that when God starts anything with and through us, we are assured of a perfect start and a glorious finish! What makes this even more remarkable is that this reality and strength is not just limited to spiritual experiences; it permeates every aspect of our lives. We can excel in all we do because we have access to endless energy, enabling us to tackle multiple tasks with ease. Again, bringing back the words of our man of God, “we have an endless energy that helps us combine all things and/or responsibilities, and they make sense”. So, unlike human energy which often starts slow and tries to finish strong, God’s energy is endless and superhuman from start to finish. It is like having a constant boost of energy that never runs out! With God, you can start strong and finish even stronger! Hallelujah!
On a final note, dearly beloved, as you go through the rest of the month, year, and beyond, in all you do, be conscious of this; With God’s endless energy, you have a GREAT start and a PERFECT finish
