Genesis 1: 27-28 Voice Version says: So, God did just that. He created humanity in His image, created them male and female. Then God blessed them and gave them this directive: “Be fruitful and multiply. Populate the earth. I make you trustees of My estate, so care for My creation and rule over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that roams across the earth.”
From the beginning of time, we see that God did not just declare us fruitful, he instructed us to be fruitful. Imagine after creating man in his very image of fruitfulness. God still gave it as an instruction again.
Our man of God always says, repetition is for emphasis. And just maybe, God was laying emphasis on the whole concept of FRUITFULNESS. He was saying man, you have to be truly fruitful. Much more, in this season where God is calling our attention to it. Personalize God speaking to you and saying: (insert your name), you must be truly fruitful!!!

Wondering what fruitfulness means?
It means to grow and multiply, especially at God’s pace. Fruitfulness means to prosper consistently and have dominion.
It is essential to note that this season, you must see fruitfulness as more than just your identity, it must be seen as an instruction. This is because sometimes, it is easy to just downplay your identity (doing this shortchanges you though and should be worked on). However, consider an order that you have no choice but to obey. That is how fruitfulness should be viewed. It is therefore, not dependent on your situation, or thought.

So, if God has called you to be fruitful, you have to do just that. Consciously and consistently winning in ALL areas of your life: spiritually, financially, academically, physically, socially, etc. You might be asking, but how do I go about being fruitful? Simple answer. When given an instruction, what do you do? You carry it out right? You are first conscious of what you have been required to do, else you lose focus and end up not carrying out the instruction or you end up doing a half-baked task. Hence, the first thing is BE CONSCIOUS of the instruction. This way, your very actions begin to align with the instruction. You begin to talk like a fruitful man, you begin to think fruitfulness and your sleeping and waking thoughts are decorated with the same instruction, (insert your name again), you must be truly fruitful!!!
1Timothy 4:15 AMPC say: Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody.

It is indeed a new year thus it is essential that you hold fast to this consciousness. Do not see it as just an advice or a plea. Take it as an instruction that needs to be carried out urgently and at God’s pace.
